Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) is located in Mysore and is offers only distance education for students in Karnataka state and other region. It was established by Government of Karnataka with the aim of providing education to those students who are not able to attend full time course or are from other region. All the course are being recognized by Distance Education Council (DEC) and is the member of Association of Indian University (AIU), Delhi.
