Karnataka AIPGMEE 2015 Entrance Test for PG Course



The Department of Medical Education has released the date of AIPGMEE 2015 exam. The examination is held for PG courses to private and government colleges. Interested candidate can apply before 10th October, 2014.
The examination will be held from 1st to 6th December, 2014. Department of Medical Education has confirmed that there will be no separate entrance test for private medical colleges and all the candidates including in-service will have to appear for a single examination.
 
The merit list earned with this exam would be used by the Department of Medical Education for allotment of PG seats in various disciplines of Medical and Dental streams. 

Students can apply online along with the prescribed fees as per the notification issued by National Board of Examination.

Test Pattern:
Examination shall be a multiple-choice questions test delivered using computer network. The test comprises of 300 multiple choices, single correct response questions in English language only. There shall be no negative marking.

AIPGMEE is applicable for J&K, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

NMAT 2015 Preparation Tips



Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) the leading management institute in India is set to conduct NMAT 2015 from October 7 till December 20, 2014.

With less time left for the preparation, you need to be well organized on what and how you prepare. If you are appearing for NMAT for the first time, then you can go through tips mentioned on preparation and crack the exam successfully:

·         Know about the subject very well and their syllabus. Understand how marks are being divided in every subject that will help you in preparing accordingly. You can even focus in important part of the subject.  Moreover, plan a strategy of your practice on specific subject.

·         Try to make your weak areas strong. You can follow strategy to make it strong:
a) First practice and understand solved examples
b) Practice unsolved exercises
c) Move on to Mock Tests
d) And finally, solve last years’ NMAT papers

·         Keep revising every subject, the more you revise the more you gain confident on the subject. However, don’t waste your maximum time on subject which you are clear with.

·         You will be attempting 120 questions in 120 minutes, so every minute is valuable for you. There is shortcut for each topic of every section. You can refer shortcuts provided by your coaching institutes.

·         Try to practice subjects in an alternate manner. Practice quant section on one day and verbal section on the second day. Devote different days for different subjects to make perfection.

·         Towards, the end of September, start practicing mock tests. Taking up last years’ question papers in the final few days is the best deal.

NMAT 2015 Registration through Pearson VUE India



Narsee Monjee Aptitude Test by NMIMS, Mumbai is conducted to select students for the MBA course offered by NMIMS. Students, who couldn’t apply for the 2015 entrance exam, can now apply though late application through Pearson VUE under online application. This late registration begins from 25th September and ends on 4th October.

The NMAT test is done to get into the programs like-
·         MBA Full Time (Mumbai Campus)
·         PGDM (Bangaluru Campus)
·         PGDM (Hyderabad Campus)

All candidates appearing for NMAT have to under computer based test conducted across India. Shortlisted candidates will be later called for GD/PI at selected centers.

NMAT Format:
The NMAT 2015 test consists of 120 questions and will be given 120 minutes. The exam is divided into different sections like- Quantitative Ability, Language Skills and Logical Reasoning.

Application process:
Candidates applying for NMAT through Pearson VUE India need to create a user account. Candidate can visit www.pearsonvueindia.com/nmat . NMIMS will now not be considering any registration from candidate after the official date. Candidate can apply for one or more programs as per his/her ability.

Exam Centers:
NMAT 2015 exam centers are- Chandigarh, Delhi, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Nagpur, Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, Hyderabad, Bihar, Indore, Kolkata, Bhubaneshwar and Pune.

NMAT 2015 Registration Fees:
Candidate applying from 25TH September to 4th October, 2014 need to pay Rs 2550/- for MBA Full Time in Mumbai, or in Bangaluru. Rs 3000/- for Mumbai campus and PGDM-Bangaluru/Hyderabad.

CMAT 2014 application date has been extended to September 1



CMAT 2014 application deadline has been extended by a week from 25th August to September 1, 2014. The notification was released by AICTE which stated, “To facilitate the aspiring candidates the online Registration for Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) -2015-16 (First Test) has been extended till 1st September, 2014.”

The CMAT 2014 exam will be held for 5 days from September 25 to September 29, 2014. Candidate has to go through three different stages of process:

The first step is candidates have to create a new account by clicking on New User. There they have to fill all details mentioned and submit the same. Once done, candidate will be given unique 6 digit password. This password in required for future logins.

Second stage is after the Self registration is complete; candidates have to pay the application fees online by using Net banking. The application fee is Rs. 1400. Once the payment is made, candidates can proceed for further process.

The third stage is candidates can fill the remaining part and submit the application form by clicking on the SUBMIT button.

KMAT Test 2 Postponed to September 14th



Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) which was supposed to be held on 24th August is now being postponed to 14th September, 2014. This is the 2nd part of the entrance test. The first part was held on 3rd August. Students can apply for the test by 10th September.

Conducted by Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association, KMAT is helps students for admissions to MBA, PGDM and MCA courses in the state of Karnataka.

Last date to submit the DD and the application form is 10th September 2014. DD should be made in favor of "KMAT 2014" and should be payable at Bangalore. Candidates who are applying for either MBA or MCA have to prepare a DD of Rs 1000. Candidates who are applying for both MCA & MBA have to prepare a DD of Rs 1000.
