Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) for Law

Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is conducted for undergraduate and post-graduate law programme. It is an All India Level Entrance Exam which offers admission in some of the top law universities in India. CLAT exam is conducted under the guidance of NALSAR University of Law in Hyderabad. Eligibility:

• There will be 200 questions with the duration of 2 hrs. There are 5 sections which consist of English Comprehension, Current Affairs, Mathematics, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning.

Candidate who are appearing CLAT exam for PG course such as:

• Exam is of 200 marks and the duration is of 2 hours. There are objectives, long an essay type questions. Where 50 marks of Objective, 10 questions with 5 marks each in long answer and 2 essay questions for 50 marks.

Application Procedure:

The application form can be obtained from selected branches of SBI with the cash payment of Rs 2,500/- for SC/ST Rs 2,000/-. Application form can also be downloaded from website www.clat.ac.in .

The duly filled formed should be submitted to Convener of National Law Institute University.

GPAT Entrance Exam

Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is conducted by Maharaja Sayajirao University at Baroda, Gujarat. This is an All-India level test which is conducted to get student admission for PG course in Pharmacy. This exam is governed under the guidance of All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.


The selection of the student is purely based on GPAT exam.

Eligibility:

• Candidate who wants seek admission for PG course in Pharmacy have to attend GPAT exam and to attend this exam candidate must be Bachelors in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) with at least 55% from any recognized university across India.

• Candidate who is appearing for the final year exam can also apply for the exam. And those who are waiting for results can also apply for the exam.

Examination Pattern:

• There are 100 questions that a candidate has to appear for and all with objective type questions.

• Every question will be having 4 options and candidate has to click on any one option.

• There is negative marking and 1/3 marks is deducted for wrong answer.

• The exam duration is of 3 hrs.

Syllabus for the Exam:

Candidate who wants to appear for this exam has to get prepared with basic Pharmacy syllabus such as Natural Products, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Analysis and Clinical Pharmacy.

Application Form:

Candidate can obtain the GPAT application form from selected branch of Bank of Baroda or else from GPAT office by paying DD of Rs 1000/- for General category and Rs 500/- for SC/ST category.

The duly filled application form must be sent to Registrar of GPAT before due date.

NIPER JEE for Pharmacy

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Joint Entrance Exam (NIPER JEE) is an all India entrance exam that is conducted PG course in Pharmacy. There are some colleges that comes under its constitute in places like Ahmadabad, Guwahati, Jaipur, Kolkata, Rae Bareli and Punjab.


NIPER is located in Punjab and is being declared as the Institute of National Importance.

Eligibility:

• Candidate who wants to appear for JEE should be pass out from B.Pharm/M.Sc/B.Tech Chemical/ MBBS/BAMS or any other that is equivalent to it with at least 60% marks from any recognized university.

• Candidate should posses GATE/NET test scores for various fields.

• Candidates who are currently appearing for final year exam can also apply for the exam.

Examination Pattern:

Candidate before appearing for the JEE have to properly go through with the exam pattern. There are 200 objective type questions and there are 4 options from which candidate have to choose any 1.

The exam is conducted for the duration of 2 hrs. Candidate has to mark the correct option with HB pencil on Objective Response Sheet (ORS).

There is also negative marking where 25% of marks are being deducted for every wrong answer.

Apart from the written exam, candidate also has to appear for GDPI. The final selection is done on the basis of written exam and GDPI.

Syllabus:

There is no prescribed syllabus for JEE but the questions are usually asked from curriculum of B.Pharm and M.Sc. There are also questions from Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Life Science and Medical Biotechnology.

Common Entrance Test (CET) for MBA in Maharashtra

Common Entrance Test (CET) for MBA course in conducted under guidance of Directorate of Technical Education. There are 80 institutes in Maharashtra that accepts the scores of CET for MBA course including Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management (JBIMS). Non-Maharashtra students who want to get into this institute have to score 135 out of 200 marks.


MBA is a full time post graduate course which is offered by some government college, universities and also by aided colleges.

Eligibility:

• Candidate who wants to take admission for MBA should have bachelor’s degree certificate with at least 45% marks from any recognized university. Students from SC/ST quota have 5% relaxation in %.

• Candidate who is currently appearing for final year can also seek admission for MBA, but also has to submit the passing certificate after getting results or else the admission will be cancelled.

• Admission for MBA course depends on the CET marks and GDPI.

Examination Pattern:

The paper pattern consists of 200 marks with the duration of 150 min and there will 5 options for every question. The syllabus consists of:

• Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension

• Quantitative Aptitude

• Logical Abstract

The total marks for GDPI is 40. There are no negative marks for wrong answer.

Application Process:

The application form with the broachers can be obtained from post office by paying the application fees. The submission of the application form should done before the due date have to additional late with of Rs1000/- in cash in the first week of February.

Rajasthan University LLB University Entrance Test (RULET)

Rajasthan university LLB university entrance exam (RULET) is conducted by University of Rajasthan. This exam is being conducted for students who want to pursue undergraduate course in B.A LLB. Apart from university of Rajasthan this is course is also offered by other colleges in Rajasthan that comes under university. Rajasthan University is the premier institute which offers number of undergraduate and post- graduate courses in various fields. It is recognized by UGC and is accredited A+ and NAAC, India.


Eligibility:

• Candidate who has passed out 10+2 with at least 50% from any stream and from any recognized university and for SC/ST candidate it is 45%.

• The candidate should not be crossed 21 yrs of age.

Exam Pattern:

The pattern of the paper is fully objective type and there are 4 option provided in every question. The duration of exam is of 2 hrs and the total mark is of 200. There are four sections that candidate has to appear such as:

• Language Ability 50 Marks

• Legal Reasoning 30 Marks

• Aptitude of Learning 30 Marks

• General Knowledge 30 Marks

• General Science 30 Marks

• Social Studies 30 Marks

Apart from the test candidate also has to undergo GDPI, which is of 100 marks.

TOEFL Entrance Exam

The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is one such exam where students are being tested their knowledge about North American English speaking and writing ability. This exam is only taken up by students who want to take admission in such institution where teaching is done only in English medium.


There are many government agencies and scholarship programs uses TOEFL marks to evaluate the English proficiency.

Different Versions of TOEFL Exam:

CAT Entrance Exam

Common Admission Test (CAT) is entrance exam that is conducted students who want to pursue MBA from recognized institute like IIM (Indian Institute Management) that is located in the selected cities of India. This is the toughest exam and is conducted by IIM.

There are four sections such as Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, Problem Solving and Data Interpretation. All questions are objective type and having 4 options. The duration of the exam varies as the total marks of paper keep changing every year.

Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) Entrance Exam

Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) is the most influential institute for media studies. It offers various courses in mass communication like print journalism, photo journalism audio and video journalism and PR.


It conducts all India level entrance examination for students who want to take admission in PG diploma course in mass communication. It also conducts small workshops and short courses.
