Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is conducted for undergraduate and post-graduate law programme. It is an All India Level Entrance Exam which offers admission in some of the top law universities in India. CLAT exam is conducted under the guidance of NALSAR University of Law in Hyderabad. There are many other universities that admit students on the basis of scores from CLAT.

Eligibility:
The eligibility for the admission in LLM and LLB course students has to under CLAT exam and to appear for this exam has to go below mentioned procedure:
• Candidate who wants take admission undergraduate LLB course then should be 10+2 pass out with at least 55% marks from any recognized board.
• Candidate who belongs to SC/ST category should out with 50% marks.
• Candidate who is currently appear or waiting for 12th exam can also apply for the exam.
• Candidate who want to seek admission for post graduate LLM course should pass LLB/B.L with at least 55% from any recognized university are eligible for exam.
Examination Pattern:
Candidate who is appearing for undergraduate course have to appear for CLAT and the exam pattern for undergraduate is:
• There will be 200 questions with the duration of 2 hrs. There are 5 sections which consist of English Comprehension, Current Affairs, Mathematics, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning.
Candidate who are appearing CLAT exam for PG course such as:
• Exam is of 200 marks and the duration is of 2 hours. There are objectives, long an essay type questions. Where 50 marks of Objective, 10 questions with 5 marks each in long answer and 2 essay questions for 50 marks.
Application Procedure:
The application form can be obtained from selected branches of SBI with the cash payment of Rs 2,500/- for SC/ST Rs 2,000/-. Application form can also be downloaded from website www.clat.ac.in .
The duly filled formed should be submitted to Convener of National Law Institute University.
