St. Stephen’s to release its first cut off list on July 2

St. Stephen’s will be releasing its first admission list on July 2, to meet the guidelines notified by Delhi University.   

The college has released a press release mentioning, “St. Stephen’s College, having been permitted by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, to have its own selection procedure, under Article 30(1) of the Constitution, had continued with the selection process, including interviews, and put up lists of provisionally selected candidates. The ‘provisional’ nature of selection was meant to preserve the margin for compliance with the guidelines of the University at a time when several issues were undecided”. It was further stated that, “Now that the University has instructed that “courses and seats” to be offered shall be as they were in 2012-2013, the lists already published shall be modified and republished accordingly by Wednesday (2 July 2014) afternoon”.

The college has also notified that applications seeking admission for courses like BA and BSc were not invited. However, the university has restored these courses, so the college can declare its first list. Candidates applying for these courses can submit the same from 9 am on July 2, 2014 and the last date for submitting the application will be July 8, 2014 (midnight). Further the list of selected candidates for interview will be announced by the college on July 9, 2014 and the interviews shall be held on July 11, 12 and 14, 2014.
