KSET 2014 Exam notification declared

University of Mysore has declared the date of Karnataka State Eligibility Test (K-SET) 2014 also invites application for the same. The exam is scheduled on November 30, 2014.

The entrance test is conducted to select candidates for the post of Lecturer / Assistant professorship

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidate applying should have obtained at least 55% or general category and 50% for Schedule Category (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disability (PWD-VH/PH), Category I, IIA, IIB, and IIIA, IIIB candidates, in master’s degree or equivalent examination from universities / institutions recognized by UGC New Delhi.
• Candidates appearing for master’s degree or still awaiting for the same can apply for the same.
• Ph.D Degree holders whose Master’s level examination had been completed on or before 19th September 1991 (irrespective of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% marks for appearing in KSET examination.

Application Process:

Candidates can apply for the same by visiting http://kset.uni-mysore.ac.in/ . Once the application is downloaded and filled, candidate needs to download bank challan proforma prefilled with candidate details and Email id, Fee and bank commission.  The payment for the application should be done to any of the nearest State Bank of Mysore.

Once the payment is done, candidates have to login with their registered email ID and password for downloading the application form and can take the printout of the 3 sheets of application form (hard copy) in A 4 size paper as detailed below:

Important Dates:

· Submission of online application form: 20th June, 2014

· Last date for submission of online application: 31st July, 2014

· Last date for submission of online application with late fee of Rs.100/: 14th August, 2014

· Last date for submission of hard copy of the application form along with copy of the bank challan, category certificates, to the nodal center: 1st September, 2014

· Date of Examination: 30th, November 2014
