JEE Main 2014 AIR to be declared on July 7

Joint Engineering Exam (JEE) Main All India Rank (AIR) for 2014 will be out on July 7, 2014. The counseling session which was to start from July 1 is also to begin after the declaration of ranks. The candidates will be able to check the same on the official website. Around 12.5 lakh students appeared for the JEE Main Exam 2014. 

The AIR will be listed on the basis of 60 percent weightage of the JEE Main score and 40 percent weightage of the normalized score in class 12th. The rank which will be issued after the session will consist of 'All India rank', 'state rank' and 'category rank' of the candidate.

The JEE Main result was announced on July 2 and will be used or obtaining admissions to undergraduate engineering and architecture courses at the NITs, IIITs and other technical institutions across India.
