As the exam date of CAT 2014 has been declared and the registration
process to begin from August 6 and continuing till September 30, candidate
should know the eligibility criteria for the admission IIMs.
Each IIM short-lists candidates for second stage of
selection which shall be independent from each other. The process of selection
is Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interviews
(PI).
According to the official website, “IIMs may use previous
academic performance of the candidates, relevant work experience and other
similar inputs in short-listing and ranking of candidates at various stages of
the admission process.”
Once the CAT 2014 result is declared, IIM will send
interview letters to the short listed candidates for next level. Selected candidates should provide
eligibility verification like:
Mark sheets and degree certificate
Reservation category requirements
The deadline for submission of the marksheet and the certificate is December 31, 2015.
Non-fulfillment of this condition will automatically result in the cancellation of the provisional admission.
