Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2013 exam conducted by All
India Management Association (AIMA) is
being scheduled on December. Candidate
interested in applying for the exam can register till 16th November,
2013.
MAT -- a national level test conducted to facilitate various
national and international B-Schools screen candidates for admission to MBA and
allied programs. It will be conducted in both paper mode and computer mode. The
Paper based test will be held on 1 December 2013 between 1000 hours and 1230
hours and the computer based test will be conducted from 7 December 2013
onwards in different time slots, subject to number of candidates registering
for Computer Based Test.
Candidate has to apply for any of the mode he/she won’t be
allowed to appear. Test venues for both Paper-Based Test and Computer Based
Test will be different. The Paper based test will be organized at all the 50
cities / centers in the country, the Computer-based test will be held at only
12 cities / centers of the 50 cities / centers in the country.
The test will also be conducted in countries like-Dubai and
Singapore.

How to register for MAT 2013:
To register for MAT 2013 candidate can go through following
process:

Candidate can get the form along with MAT
bulletin at price of Rs 1200/- from branches of Bank of Baroda and Axis Bank.

Candidate can pay the fees through crossed DD of
Rs 1200/- in favor of AIMA, payable at Delhi
All MAT registration forms received at AIMA by the
prescribed date and time will be scanned / validated within 3 days and the Form
Numbers of the shortlisted / selected forms will be uploaded on the
official website of AIMA.

Selection Process:
The selection process is on the basis of GD PI that will be
undertaken after the scores earned by the candidate.
MAT 2013 Exam
Pattern:
MAT 2013 will be held in both paper pencil based and
computer based form. The duration of the exam is 2 hours 30 minutes. There are
200 multiple choice questions on 5 sections, namely Language Comprehension,
Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Mathematical Skills, Intelligence and Critical
Reasoning and Indian and Global Environment. Each correct answer bears four
marks and for each wrong answer, there is 1/4 negative marking.
