Calibre Management Aptitude Test (CMAT)

The Calibre Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) is a National Level Management Test which is conducted by Calibre Mindware Programming Pvt Ltd, Pune. This exam is conducted to see the ability and skills of students to get into the manager level.  The scores of this exam will be used for the admission in the PG course offered in B Schools.

The advantage of this examination for students is they will get a chance to study in any of 50 B Schools for management program.  This examination is conducted twice is a year and in various centers across India. Equally, all the B Schools in India will be benefited by getting some good aspirants who can be good managers after studying from any of the B School. Large number of students can get to see the infrastructure and also the quality of education offered by them.

Eligibility criteria for CMAT

·         Candidate who wants to seek admission in any of the B School for PG course should be graduated with at least 40% marks from any university in India that is recognized by any central or state legislature.  The university should also be recognized from UGC Act 1956.

·         Candidate appearing for the final year exam can also apply for the exam

Examination pattern for CMAT

Candidate appearing for the CMAT exam has to answer 100 multiple type objective questions, which is divided into 4 sections.  Questions will be divided as Verbal ability- 25, Quantitative ability- 25, and Reasoning ability: 25 and General awareness- 25. Candidate has to answer all the questions within 2hrs.

Application procedure for CMAT

The application form can be obtained through post by paying Rs 900/- or from selected Career Forum branch and HDFC Bank.  The fees for the application form can be obtained by paying through DD drawn from any scheduled bank. The application form can also be downloaded from its website http://www.c-mat.com  by paying Rs 950/- through credit card.
