Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam (UP SEE) is conducted for students who want to seek admission for UG and PG courses in Engineering, Pharmacy, hotel management course and other technology courses offered by management and engineering colleges in Uttar Pradesh.

RPET Exam

Rajasthan state conducts entrance exam for students who want to seek admission for UG course in Science and Engineering field. This exam is called as a Rajasthan Pre-medical Entrance Test which conducted by Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan. Almost all colleges except BTIS Pilani, MNIT and Jaipur University don’t except RPET scores.

Eligibility:

Candidate who wants to appear for the RPET test for engineering and science course should be 10+2 pass out from any recognized state board.

Candidate in their 10+2 level course should have taken up Physics and Chemistry. Candidate who are appearing or waiting for their 12^th exam result can also apply for the exam.

Examination Pattern:

The RPET exam paper contains 120 questions which are divided into 3 sections:

·         Physics

·         Chemistry

·         Mathematics

There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

Application Procedure:

The application form can be obtained from selected UCO branch in Rajasthan by paying Rs700/-. The duly filled application form should be submitted to exam Co-coordinator on scheduled date.

GCET Exam

Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) is conducted by Government of Goa by Directorate of Technical Education. This exam is conducted for students who want to seek admission for the UG course in field of Engineering, technology, architecture and other medical course that is offered in various colleges and institutes in Goa.

Eligibility:

The eligibility criteria for students who want to seek admission for the UG course are same for the courses. Candidate must be 10+2 pass out form any recognized state board with at least 50% marks in PCB and Mathematics.

Examination Pattern:

The GCET exam is of objective type question which is divided into 5 sections

·         Chemistry

·         Mathematics

There will be no negative marking for wrong answer. Candidate has to answer all the questions in 2hrs of duration.

Application Procedure:

The application form can be obtained from the selected branch of Syndicate bank with the payment of Rs 350/- . Candidates who are from other state should send request to the DDTE by paying cash of amount Rs 400/-.

Candidate who want to seek admission for Architecture course have to score good marks in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). All the filled application form should be sent to the GCET committee.

Lucknow University Computer Science Admission Test (LUCSAT) is an entrance exam that is conducted for students who want to seek admission for Masters in Computer Application. This entrance is conducted under the guidance of Department of Computer Science of Lucknow University. The university is recognized by UGC.

Eligibility:

·         Candidate who wants to seek admission for LUCSAT MCA should be B.Sc pass out from any recognized university with at least 45% marks.

·         Candidate must have taken up Mathematics as subject in 10+2.

Examination Pattern:

MAH MCA CET Exam

The Maharashtra Government under the guidance of Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra conduct MAH MCA CET for students who want to seek admission in Masters in Computer Application (MCA) at any of the engineering and technology college/institute in Maharashtra.

Eligibility:

Candidate who wants to seek admission in MCA has to appear for MAH MCA CET exam.

·         Candidate who wants to seek admission for MCA course should have bachelors passing certificate from college that is recognized by Association of Indian Universities with at least 45% marks.

·         Candidate should have taken up Mathematics or Statistics as subject in 10+2.

·         Candidate who is bachelors pass out along PG course of 2 yrs from any college recognized from Association of India University.

Examination Pattern:

Candidates appearing for the MAH MCA CET have to answer two separate papers in the duration of 2 hrs in OMR sheet.

Paper I consist of GA and paper II consist of CC (computer concept).Both the paper are of 1hrs each with 100 marks where 25 marks will be of objective type. There is no provision of negative marking.

West Bengal JECA Exam

West Bengal Joint Examination for Computer Application (WB JECA) is conducted for students who want to seek admission for MCA course offered by private and public engineering colleges in West Bengal.

Eligibility for Exam:

·         Candidate who want to seek admission for MCA course in engineering college have to appear for the entrance exam.

·         Candidate must be bachelor pass out from any recognized university in WB with at least 55%.
