GCET Exam

Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) is conducted by Government of Goa by Directorate of Technical Education. This exam is conducted for students who want to seek admission for the UG course in field of Engineering, technology, architecture and other medical course that is offered in various colleges and institutes in Goa.
Eligibility:
The eligibility criteria for students who want to seek admission for the UG course are same for the courses. Candidate must be 10+2 pass out form any recognized state board with at least 50% marks in PCB and Mathematics.
Examination Pattern:
The GCET exam is of objective type question which is divided into 5 sections
·         Physics
·         Chemistry
·         Mathematics
·         Biology
·         Computer Science
There will be no negative marking for wrong answer. Candidate has to answer all the questions in 2hrs of duration.
Application Procedure:
The application form can be obtained from the selected branch of Syndicate bank with the payment of Rs 350/- . Candidates who are from other state should send request to the DDTE by paying cash of amount Rs 400/-.
Candidate who want to seek admission for Architecture course have to score good marks in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). All the filled application form should be sent to the GCET committee.
