IIT-JAM Exam

Indian Institute of Technology one of the prominent institute in India offering various Engineering and technology courses conducts Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. It is a rotational exam taken by IIT for the admission in M.Sc and other post B.Sc course.
Courses:
·         M.Sc
·         MSC
·         M.Tech
Eligibility:
·         Candidate who wants to appear for the IIT-JAM exam must be bachelor from B.Sc subject with at least 55% from any recognized university in India.
·         Candidate has to show their medical certificate while taking admission in IIT-JEE.
·         Candidate who is appearing for the final exam can also apply for the course, but should submit the passing certificate or else the admission will be cancelled.
Examination Pattern:
Candidate has to complete the paper in 3hrs and should answer the questions in ORS. All the questions are of objective type.
Candidate who is appearing for the exam has to select below listed subjects for corresponding test:
·         Biotechnology
·         Computer Application
·         Chemistry
·         Geology
·         Geophysics
·         Mathematical Statistics
·         Mathematics
·         Physics
There are negative markings for wrong answers.
Application Procedure:
The application for IIT-JAM can be obtained through post from JAM office by request after paying through DD of Rs 1000/- under the favor of JAM exam drawn from nationalized bank.
Candidate who wants to appear for second test paper by paying additional fees of Rs 300/-.
 The application form can also be downloaded from http://jam.iitm.ac.in by paying DD of under the favor of JAM Exam.
