EAMCET Exam

Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Exam (EAMCET) is gateways for students who want seek admission for various courses offered by colleges.  It is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.
Courses Offered:
·         B.Sc
·         B.Tech
·         MBBS
·         B.E
·         B.Pharm
·         BHMS
Eligibility:
JNTU has regulated different eligibility criteria for different courses opted by students.
For Medical Stream:
·         Students who want to seek admission for B.SC (AG), B.Sc must have higher secondary passing certificate from any recognized state board in Andhra Pradesh with at least 55% marks in PCB subjects.
·         Students who want to seek admission for MBBS, BAMS, and BHMS must have passing certificate from intermediate education or any recognized board in Andhra Pradesh.
For Engineering Stream:
·         students who wants appear for B.Tech, B.Pharm or B.Sc in Agriculture must have higher secondary passing certificate from any recognized board from Andhra Pradesh, with at least 55% in PCB  and Mathematics subjects
Examination Pattern:
·         Students who are appearing for EAMCET exam have to answer multiple type objective questions, with total of 160 marks.
·         The time duration for this test is for 3hrs.
·         For Medical exam  there will be 40 question in Physics, 40 questions in Chemistry and 80 questions in Biology
·         For Engineering stream there will be 80 question from Mathematics, 40 questions from Physics and 40 from Chemistry
·         Students should at least bring 40 marks out of 160 and for SC/ST candidate there are not percentage criteria
Application Procedure:
Candidate who have taken up Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry have to apply for “E” category and students who have taken up Biology, Physics and Chemistry have to apply for AM application forms. This form can be obtained through online www.apeamcet.org . Candidate can also obtain the form through college center by paying Rs 250/- and send to the controller of the exam.
