Assam JAT

Assam Joint Admission Test (Assam JAT) is an entrance exam which is conducted for students who want to seek admission for undergraduate course in Engineering, Medical in regional medical colleges. The scores of this test are selected in state colleges of Assam. This exam is conducted under the guidance of Director of Technical Education, Assam. This exam is conducted in the month of May and center for this exam is declared in Newspaper by Director of Technical Education, Assam.
Courses:
·         B.Tech
·         B.E
·         BAMS
·         MBBS
·         BUMS
Eligibility:
Students who want to seek admission for Assam JAT have to complete all the eligibility criteria necessary for it:
·         Candidates who want to appear for the entrance exam should have 12th exam from with at least 50% marks in PCM and English subject from any recognized higher secondary level.
·         Candidate’s age should not be more than 17 yrs.
Examination Pattern:
The exam paper is divided into 4 sections:
·         Mathematics (100)
·         Physics (100)
·         Chemistry(100)
·         Biology(100)
All the questions are of multiple type objective questions with the time duration of 3hrs. Part from the above sections, candidates will also have to write essay on the given topic.
Application Procedure:
The application forms can be obtained from the engineering colleges of Assam or even can obtained through post by paying some amount through DD from any nationalized bank drawn under the favor of Controller of the exam.
