PTET Entrance Exam

Pre Teachers Entrance Test (PTET) is conducted in Rajasthan for the students who want to seek admission in B Ed (Bachelor of Education). This course is offered in most teacher training institutions of Rajasthan. This exam is jointly conducted by Maharashi Dayanand University and Jai Narayan Vyas University.  After appearing the PTET exam students are called for online counseling depending on the PTET rank. Later, the lists of successful candidate are prepared for the admission.

Eligibility:

·         Candidate who wants to appear for PTET entrance exam should be graduate from Jai Narayan Vyas University or any other university of Rajasthan with at least 45%.

·         Candidates appearing for final exam or waiting for exam can also apply for the entrance exam.

·         There are also some eligibility criteria that are laid down by the university.

Examination Pattern:

The examination pattern for PTET exam consist of booklet in which questions are divided into 4sections and each sections consists of 50 questions and students have to answer the question in separate OMR sheets. Section A consist questions from mental ability, section B consists of teaching attitude ad aptitude types, sections C consists of general awareness and current affairs.

Section D consist questions of vocabulary and functional grammar question. In this section there will be questions in both Hindi and English.

Application Procedure:

Candidates are strictly advised to fill the OMR application form in Black pen. The application form can be downloaded from the PTET website www.ptetjnvy.org and even can be obtained through centers that are affiliated to the university.
