Kerala Law Entrance Exam

Kerala Law Entrance Exam (KLEE) is conducted for students who want to seek admission for Undergraduate or Postgraduate course in Law. This exam is conducted under the guidance of Commissioner for Entrance Exam and Government of Kerala. The scores of this test are being accepted in all the government and private colleges in Kerala.
Eligibility:
There are different eligibility criteria for different law courses in UG and PG level:
For 5 yrs LLB course:
·         Candidate who wants to seek admission for 5yrs of LLB course should 10+2 passed out with at least 40% marks from recognized board of Kerala and should be recognized by Bar Council of India (BCI).
·         Candidate who currently appearing for the 12th exam can also apply for the test.
For 3yrs LLB course:
·         Candidate who want to seek admission for 3yrs of LLB course should graduate from any stream with at least 40% marks from University of Kerala
·         Candidate should be the resident of Kerala.
For 2 yrs of LLM course:
·         Candidate should have the passing certificate of LLB program of 5yrs or 3yrs recognized by University of Kerala
·         Candidate who is appearing for final exam can also apply for the test
·         Candidate must be citizen of Kerala
Examination Pattern:
The exam pattern for LLB course consists of 3 parts with 200 objective types questions with the duration of 3hrs:
·         Part I: consists of 65 questions from GK.
·         Part II: consists of 65 questions from English
·         Part II: consists of 70 from Aptitude and legal studies
Students will be getting 3marks for every right answer.
For LLM test students have to answer for two different question set of 100 marks each for 90 minutes each. First sheet contains 25 questions from:
·         Jurisprudence
·         Constitutional Law
·         Law of Crimes
·         Law of Contracts
Second paper consists of 100 questions out of which 80 questions will be from:
·         Public International Law
·          Administrative Law
·         Law of Property
·         Company Law
20 questions from:
·         Interpretation of statutes
·         Law of Trots
Application Form:
The application form can be downloaded from its official website www.cee.kerala.org  on paying Rs 600/- for General category and Rs 300/-for SC/ST.  The fee for the application form can be paid through DD or at any branch of State Bank of Travancore. The DD should be drawn under the favor of Commissioner of Entrance Exam.
