Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Entrance Exam

Aligarh University is the most prominent university in India and is located in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. It offers 250 different types of courses. Every Year it conducts All India Entrance Exam Test for students who want to seek admission in B.Tech and B. Arch course and other engineering and medical courses.


Eligibility for AMU Entrance Exam:

Students who want to take up Undergraduate course from AMU should appear for entrance exam conducted by university. To appear for this entrance exam there are some eligibility such as:

• Student must be 10+2 pass out or equivalent to it with at least 50% from any recognized higher secondary board.

• Candidate should have to bring at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to get qualified for the exam.

• Candidate who has completed the diploma course in field of engineering can also apply for the competitive exam.

Examination Pattern:

The exam is conducted in two sections. Section one for those who are seeking admission for Technology and section two for Architecture course. The exam pattern is being mentioned below:

Paper One:

The paper one is conducted for B.Tech course with all the objective type questions with four options on every question. All the questions are based from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

Paper two:

Students who want to pursue B.Arch have to appear for paper two along with paper one. Questions in paper two is designed as per the aptitude test and asked from Architecture field.

Application Procedure:

The application form can be obtained from by sending request letter along with DD of Rs 100/- to Assistant Controller in AMU. The application form can also be obtained from SBI. The duly filled application form should be sent to Controller of the examination.
