Admit Card for JEE Advanced 2014 is now Available Online



Students appearing for JEE Advanced 2014 can now get their admit card online.  Candidate need to enter their Registration Number and Date of Birth while entering the site.

The online admit cards will be available till 24th May, 2014. Top 1.5 lakh candidates who qualified the JEE Main 2014 will be taking the JEE Advanced 2014 on 25th May, 2014 for admission to the undergraduate programmes in Engineering, Architecture and Sciences at IIT’s and Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad.


JEE Advanced exam will be conducted on 25th May, 2014.

17 Institutes have made it to Asian Universities Ranking 2014



As per the report published by QS, there are 17 institutes made it to Asian Universities, which is 50% increase from last 11yrs.

IIT Delhi holds 38th place, whereas IIT Bombay goes to 41st place. Five other IITs feature in the top 100, led by Kanpur and Madras just outside the top 50.

With seven IITs among the leading eight institutes, the top levels of Indian higher education remain much stronger in science and technology than in social sciences and arts.

“The IITs have a great reputation among graduate employers, and now produce a relatively high volume of research, but it is not yet having a significant impact in terms of citations,” QS head of research Ben Sowter said.

This time Singapore and Korea has overtaken the traditional Japan and Hong Kong. National University of Singapore (NUS) tops the rankings for the first time, while Korea’s KAIST rises from sixth to second place.

MP 12th Board result will be declared on 16th May



Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) will declare the results of Madhya Pradesh Board Class 12 Exam results on 16th May, 2014.

Google Launches Classroom- An Online Education Tool



Google has come up with its new online tool for education named Classroom. With this new app teachers can create and organize assignments quickly, provide feedback efficiently, and communicate with their classes with ease," the company said in a blog post.

The tool will integrate apps like Docs, Drive and Gmail so that teachers are able to create and collect assignments paperlessly.  It will allow teachers to track students assignments and provide real-time feedback. 

Google says that Classroom will be an ad-free product, just like other Apps for Education tools.  Currently, Google will let a limited number of teachers try it out for a month. The wider rollout of this online solution will commence in September.

Mangalore and Yenepoya University inks MOU on Academic Research



Mangalore University and Yenepoya University has inked MOU for academic and research activities. PS Yadapadithaya, registrar (administration) of Mangalore University and Dr C V Raghuveer, registrar of Yenepoya University signed and exchanged the MoU that seeks to promote collaborative research, instructions, cultural and extension programmes, exchange of research information, exchange of students and faculty.

Amity University announces 12 Week Management of Academic Institutions Course
