NCHMCT JEE

National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMCT JEE) is a conducted for students so that can get admission for Undergraduate course in hotel management. This council is autonomous and runs under the Ministry of Tourism and Government of India.  Admission is done under the basis of merit list.

Eligibility for the Exam:

Candidates who want to appear for NCHMCT JEE have to completely follow the eligibility criteria:

·         Candidate should be 10+2 pass out from any recognized board with at least 55% from any stream but English should be taken as the main subject.

·          Candidate who is currently appearing for the final exam can also apply for the exam.

·         Candidate’s age should not be more than 23 yrs.

Examination Pattern:

The examination pattern for the NCHMCT JEE consists of written exam with 3 hrs of duration. There are five parts which paper is divided into:

·         Reasoning and Logical Deduction

·         Numerical Ability and  Scientific Aptitude

·         Service and Hospitality Aptitude

·         General Knowledge and Current  Affairs

·         English Language

Application Procedure:

Candidate can download the application form through website by paying the application fees of Rs 950/- or even can be requested by paying DD of same fees under the favor of NCHMCT, Noida.

DU CATE Entrance Exam

Delhi University conducts entrance exam under the guidance of Department of English. It is known as Delhi University Common Aptitude Test for English (DUCATE). This entrance exam is conducted for those students who want to seek admission in the undergraduate course of BA (Hons) English. This test is conducted in 12 affiliated colleges with Delhi University. According to the rules of DU SC/ST and Foreign students have no need of appearing this exam as they are directly admitted to the course. The final selection of the student along with marks in entrance exam merit in common aptitude is also considered.


Eligibility:

• Candidate who wants to appear for the entrance exam should be10+2 exams from any recognized board with at least 60% marks in English subject.

• Candidate should bring at least 60% marks in best of four subjects in final exam

• Candidates who are waiting for 12th exam result can also apply for exam.

Examination Pattern:

The exam pattern for DU CATE is divided in two parts:

Part One:

There are multiple choice questions with four options in every question and students have to mark any one option. There will be no negative marking for wrong answer

Part Two:

To appear for paper 2 students should appear for paper One. There will be only descriptive and subjective types of questions.

Application Procedure:

The application form for the DU CATE exam can be obtained from university counter or from post office by paying some cash for the form. After filling the application form it should be sent to the Chairperson of the DU CATE exam. This form should be reached before the due date or else the admission will be rejected.

GNDU CET Entrance Exam for Law/LLM/LLB

Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) conducts entrance exam for LLM/LLB/Law for students who want to seek admission in this field. It is a state level exam that is conducted for law course offered by various Government and Private colleges in Punjab that are affiliated to Punjab University. GNDU is known for offering good education and great infrastructure to students.

Eligibility:

For 5 yrs BA.LLB (Hons): Candidate who wants to seek admission for this course should be 10+2 pass out from any recognized board of Punjab with at least 45% marks. The age of the student should not be more than 20 yrs.

For 3 yrs LLB Law Program: candidate who wants to seek admission for PG in this LLB Law then should be pass out from Under Graduate course from any college that is affiliated to Punjab University or from GNDU with at least 45%. The age of the student should not be more than 30.

Examination Pattern:

Candidate has to appear for different CET entrance exam for different law course. There will be 300 objectives multiple type questions and are divided in 4 sections:

• Section 1: 50 questions from Mental Ability

• Section 2: 100 question from GK and Current Affairs

• Section3: 100 questions from Aptitude

• Section 4: 50 questions from General English

Application Procedure:

The application form can be downloaded from the university website or can be obtained from university counter by paying DD of Rs 1000/- under the favor of Registrar of the GNDU.

If it is downloaded from website it should be sent along with additional amount of Rs 600/- and send it to the Registrar of the GNDU.

Lovely Professional University NEAT Exam

National Engineering Aptitude Test (NEAT) is an entrance exam that is conducted by Lovely Professional University for students who want to seek admission in engineering stream undergraduate course. It is an online exam that is conducted for students who are form different states in India. For the convenience of the students this online exam is conducted twice in a day of the exam date. Located in Punjab it is the largest university and is being approved by University Grant Commission (UGC).


Students can opt for courses like B.Tech, Computer Science, IT, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and other Engineering courses.

Eligibility:

• Candidate who wants to appear for NEAT exam should be 10+2 pass out with at least 50% marks from any recognized board with subjects like Physics, Math and English.

• Candidate who wants to seek admission for B.Tech or any other course should be 10+2 pass out with at least 50% marks.

• Candidate who is appearing for the 12th exam or waiting for exam can also apply for the test.

Examination Pattern:

NEAT entrance is an online test conducted for 3 hours. There will be objective type questions and there are no negative marking for wrong answer. There are 2 groups for which students have to appear accordingly.

In group A students who are non-medical and passed out 10+2 exam can appear for this exam and will be asked from PCM and General Aptitude.

In group B students who have taken up medical in 10+2 can appear for this exam and will be asked from PCB and General Aptitude.

The application form can be downloaded from university website www.lpu.in and send the filled application form with the payment of Rs 450/- and send it to the Counseling and Admission Department or at the camp office through DD under the favor of LPU, Jalandar.
