HSC result which was out in Maharashtra has brought cheer in
Aurangabad as the passing percentage has increased by 5% compared to last few
year.
The division in Aurangabad has recorded 90.98% passing
percentage in HSC and ranked fourth among nine divisions in the state. The
division has recorded its best performance since 2008, when the pass percentage
was 89.86.
This year, over 1.11 lakh students had appeared for HSC
examination conducted by MSBS and HSC in 2013-14. "The result in the
Aurangabad division has shown an improvement of almost 5% this year. The number
of students securing first class has also increased compared with last
year," said Sukhdeo Dere, divisional chairman of the education board.
This year too, girls have outsourced boys by 4.14%. Girls
recorded passing percentage of 93.61% against 89.47% recorded by boys. The
Latur division board recorded 90.60% pass percentage as against the score of
83.54% last year.
The original copies of HSC result will be distributed on
June 10 and students can collect their result from 10 distribution centers.
