With ongoing protest over Telangana row in Seemandhra,
Common Admission Test (CAT) council has announced that candidates from Seemandhra
will be given revised dates to appear for the exam. In the press release issued
by, Prometric, testing authority for CAT 2013, said that by considering unrest
in the region, they would contact candidates who choose Vijayawada or Vizag as
their centres.
“This measure is being taken in the interest of protecting
the safety of all CAT candidates. Candidates are asked to login to their CAT
profiles, print their latest admit cards, and bring their revised schedules on
the day of test,” the release said.
Candidate can now choose centres likes Bangalore, Bhubaneswar,
Chennai and Kolkata.
