CA CPT Exam

The Chartered Accountant Common Proficiency Test is an entry level exam for those who want to pursue CA. This examination is conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountant of India (ICAI) which is authorized body of chartered accountancy.  CA CPT Examination is conducted four times in a year in the month of February, May and August and November. After passing out this exam, candidate can start the classes of CA.  CA is the most prominent field where students can have a great future as many company hire CA by paying high salary.
Eligibility for CA-CPT Exam:
·         Candidate who has completed 10+2 or graduation can apply for CA-CPT exam but before that they need to get registered with ICAI in the respected.
·         Candidate who has cleared MBA, LLB, M.Com, ICWA, and B. Com in the first can apply for the exam.
·         Candidate who is appearing for the final exam can also apply for the exam
Examination pattern for CA-CPT Exam:
·         It is a written exam which is divided into 2 session, one in the morning and 2nd in the evening.
·         This examination is conducted in different centers across India. Students need to get registered online by filling the examination form online.
·         There will be negative marking for every wrong answer. ¼ marks will be deducted from wrong answer.
Application form procedure for CA-CPT Exam:
The application form for the CA-CPT exam can be obtained from the Regional and branch office of Institute in every city of India by paying Rs 600/- where Rs 500/- for examination fees and Rs 100/- for the form.  The duly filled application form and examination should be sent to the office of institute in New Delhi or also in decentralized office in various parts of city.  To fill the form of examination online one can visit the site www.icaiexam.icai.org
