Kannur University

Kannur University is an open university which was opened under the act passed by Kerala Legislature. This is the only Open University which has its jurisdiction in Kasarkod, Kannur, Wayanad and other districts of Kerala.  This Open University offers all the courses in all levels. Some of its distance education centers like Kasarkod offer IT and PG course Computer science. All the study centers are equipped with all the study facilities, especially laboratory for science related subjects. Its management related study centers offer good placements for its students in various Indian and overseas company.

Its study centers Thalassery, Mangattuparamba, Payyannur and Mannathavady offers all the study materials as per the course offered. Video conferencing, internet facilities, library, laboratories are some facilities. This university is the member of AIU, Delhi and all the courses are approved by DEC.
