English and Foreign Language University

English and Foreign Language University (EFLU) which was initially called as Central Institute of English and Foreign is the central university which offers foreign language courses. This university was started by Central Government with the aim to improve the standard of teaching in Indian universities.  The campus is located in Hyderabad and there are other 2 campus located in Lucknow and Shillong. It was established in 1958 by Government of India.

EFLU offers courses in English and Foreign language with its literature. Apart from it, university trains teacher on teaching for various fields and does take care of organization and research and even helps in improving the teaching quality in India. University offers M.Phil, Ph.D in different language course. University has its study center spread across India for its Distance Education studies

Facilities Offered:

EFLU offers all the facilities that are required for a student in campus and even its study centers.  On campus, university offers hostel facility, library, Academic block, Health Center, Multimedia Digital Library and other facility.
