Kerala Engineering, Agriculture and Medical examination (KEAM) is an entrance exam that is taken for those students who want pursue UG course in various stream including Architecture that is offered in various colleges in Kerala and other colleges affiliated to Kerala University.
Courses offered:
· B.Arch
· B.Tech
· B.Sc
· BAMS
· BHMS
· MBBS
Eligibility for KEAM:
Candidate who wants to take up Architecture should have to appear for KEAM exam and should be eligible for the course.
· Candidate must be 10+2 pass out from any recognized state board with at least 50%.
· Candidate must be good in design, especially drawing any structure.
· Candidate who has completed International Baccalaureate Diploma after 10 yrs of schooling with at least 50% marks and Mathematics as compulsory subject.
· Candidate is also required to score 40% marks in NATA.
Examination Pattern for KEAM:
The examination pattern for KEAM for Architecture course consists of 2 papers:
Paper 1: Chemistry and Physics
Paper 2: Mathematics
In every paper there are 120 objective types multiple questions which is to be answered in 150 minutes. Every question will carry 4 marks, whereas every wrong answer will deduct half marks.
Candidate apart from the entrance exam also have to appear for NATA test.
Application Procedure:
The application form can be obtained from post office in Kerala or can be obtained from website www.cee-kerala.org . The application form can be obtained by paying fees of Rs 700/-. The applications fees can be paid through SBI Bank using Chalan and the original chalan should be attached to the application form and send it to the office of CEE.
Candidate can also send DD of the same amount with the application form.
