JMET Exam

Joint Management Entrance Test (JMET) is an All- India entrance test conducted by IIT for students who wants to take admission for 2 yrs full time PG Management course.  The scores of JMET are also accepted by other institutes. This exam is conducted by IITs on rotation basis.

·         MBA
·         BBA
·         PGDM
Eligibility for JMET Exam:
The eligibility criteria for the courses offered in different IITs is different:
·         Candidate who want to admission for IIT have to go through under JMET exam and for that they should get first class in the degree course like Engineering/Technology field.
·         Candidate should bring at least 60% from any recognized university.
·         Some institutes like IIT Kanpur and IIT Delhi also accept scores of Architecture/ Pharmacy and Engineering.
Examination Pattern:
·         Candidate who are appearing for JMET exam have to answer the entire multiple type objective question in 3hrs.
·          There will be questions from Verbal Communication, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation.
·         Candidate apart from appearing for writing test they also have to appear for GDPI.
·         There will no negative marking for wrong answer.
Application Procedure:
The application form for JMET exam can be downloaded from website and can only submitted through online by paying application fees of Rs 750/-. The application form can be also be submitted online at any IIT website.
Candidate must carefully all the instruction while submitting the form if any procedure gets missed then it will not be accepted.
Students can pay application fee by Core Banking and by Challan. By taking the challan to any ICICI bank students can pay the cash. The payment is only done through ICICI bank whether you are paying through credit card or debit card.
