Centre for Environment Planning Technology (CEPT) conducts entrance exam for students who want to seek admission for Postgraduate courses offered by this institute. This entrance exam is called as Planning Admission Test commonly known as CEPT PAT. Candidate who successfully appeared and are pass out from GATE exam, they can get admission easily in this institute or else CEPT PAT exam is compulsory to be attended.
Courses that are offered by this institute are:
· PG Program
· Master in Technology
· Urban and Regional and Planning
· Environmental Planning
· Housing and Infrastructure Planning
Eligibility:
· Candidate who wants to seek admission for the M.Tech in Urban Planning and Housing must complete graduation from with at least 50% in Architecture, Civil Engineering, economics and Sociology from any recognized university.
· Candidate who has appeared for GATE exam can are no need to appear for this CEPT PAT exam. If not appeared in GATE exam then it is mandatory to appear for PAT exam.
Examination Pattern:
Candidate who are appearing for CEPT PAT exam have to go through a written test which is for half an hour followed with GDPI. Students who have appeared for GATE exam also have to go through GDPI.
Application Procedure:
The application form can be obtained from through downloading CEPT website www.cipet.ac.in or form can also be requested through post by paying DD of Rs 500/- drawn under the favor of CEPT University and should be sent to School of Planning, CEPT.
Examination Centers:
CEPT PAT exam is held at various centers across India such as Chennai, Guwahati, Bangalore, Ahmadabad and Delhi.
